Our vision

Forest Park Covenant Church has roots that date back to 1881.  God has blessed the faith and vision of our church members over these years.  Our church has grown in both numbers as well as members involved in ministry to our community.  Today we have over 400 people regularly attending and participating in our ministries throughout the week.

We believe at Forest Park our role as individuals and a church body is to be: Surrendering to the Discipleship of Jesus to live a life of His truth and grace and service.

At Forest Park, this mission is best displayed in our communities, where we daily have the chance of living out the Gospel to those around us.

The Mission

We are committed to be a part of what God is doing to transform lives as we grow in Christ to share his message and do His work.  To fulfill this vision our goal is to be people who:

  • Grow In-Recognizing our identity in Christ
  • Grow Up-Knowing God more intimately
  • Go Out-Connecting with people more deeply
  • Go Forward-Sharing Christ more passionately

How do we live out this Vision and Mission?  This is how;

The Forest Park Family:

A story of God's amazing & Enduring grace

The awesome thing about Forest Park's story is that God's grace and love are so deeply woven into the fibers of who we are that any success or prosperity we've experienced is a direct result of God's favor. The essence of what Forest Park is today, was built with God's guidance over the last 125 years by His faithful servants. Over the many years since the founding of Forest Park we have continually relied on our faith in God to guide the direction of our church as we moved from one building to another and eventually from Muskegon to Norton Shores.  During all of those years the distinct individuals of Forest Park have worked together to help bring glory to God and Transform Lives in our community!
