Discover where God wants to lead you.
Our hope is that God is calling you into a deeper journey of faith through connection, discipleship, and membership. Wherever you are in your faith, we hope HE is leading you to a place of belonging, transformation, and purpose.

Baptism
Baptism is a beautiful and sacred moment—a joyful celebration of God’s grace and love for us. It’s a sign that we belong to Christ, a public declaration of faith, and a powerful reminder that God’s grace always comes first in our lives.
One of the special things about Forest Park is our freedom to honor different traditions of Baptism. We practice both infant baptism and believer’s baptism, respecting the faith journey of each individual and family. Infant baptism highlights the truth that God’s love reaches us before we can even respond, while believer’s baptism celebrates the choice to follow Jesus made by someone who has come to personal faith. Both are beautiful expressions of God’s unending grace and our response to His love.
Baptism also connects us to the larger body of Christ. It’s a moment of belonging, where the church community surrounds you, celebrates with you, and promises to walk alongside you in your journey of faith.

Holy Communion
The congregation at Forest Park shares in the sacrament of Holy Communion during worship on the first Sunday of each month. Communion is viewed as a way to remember and proclaim Jesus' death and resurrection. The focus is on His grace and presence.
We practice open communion, meaning that all who put their faith in Jesus—regardless of denomination or background—are welcome to participate.
Parents can decide when their children are ready to take communion by considering whether their children profess faith in Jesus, show evidence of conversion through love for Jesus, and are obedient to Jesus.
Taking communion together is a sign of unity among believers, reflecting our commitment to living in community as the body of Christ.
