What an awesome experience Trunk or Treat 2017 was! It might have been rainy and cold outside, but that didn't stop almost 800 people from coming through out doors to share in fun and excitement. A HUGE thanks to all our volunteers who were here to pass out candy, cook food, play music, run games, help set up and so much more!
Once again this year our Student Ministries partnered with Community Encompass to help our at CATCH Camp in the McLaughlin Neighborhood. Pastor Justin along with some students and parents were on hand during the kickoff event in June to cook food, help run some of the games, and be there to fellowship with the people in the neighborhood. This is a great event every year and is just one of the ways Student Ministries is living into our vision of Transforming Live in Our Community for God!
Some Sunday mornings just have a little bit of everything. We had great worship, a chance to celebrate our 8th grade CORE students as well as all of our children, and the beginning of a new message series.
On January 7 the Alaska Mission Team sponsored a 7K run to help raise money for the trip to Alaska Christian College in July. 25 crazy runners braved the cold, snow and wind to help raise $900! Here are the photos to prove there are people crazy enough to run when the wind chill is below zero and it is snowing!!
We were blessed this year to have Christmas fall on a Sunday. Here are a few of our favorite images from our Christmas Eve and Christmas morning worship services!
Every year our Thanksgiving Eve worship service is one of the most popular services we have. It is a great opportunity to come together and hear stories of how God is moving and transforming the lives of specific people in our congregation. Here are some highlights from this year!
